The Whiskey Jerks are SO happy to be partaking in this event! Here’s a bit about it:
In conjunction with Coldest Night of the Year 2019, a self-described "super-fun, family-friendly walking fundraiser that raises money for the hungry, homeless and hurting in 100+ communities across Canada..." Riversdale Neighbours is holding our FOURTH ANNUAL CNOY HOUSE CONCERT, featuring performances generously donated by WHISKEY JERKS, OSCAR'S HOLLOW and FABIAN MINNEMA to raise funds which provide help and support the homeless in our town through The Bridge and The Lighthouse. All funds raised will go to this cause. Come on up to the house and let's help make the world a warmer place with music.
The Whiskey Jerks are happy to be releasing their second album Baba Was A Bootlegger at the Bassment - so come down for a great night of music, stories and downright fun with The Whiskey Jerks! Wonderful local band Oscar’s Hollow will be kicking things off to a great start!
The Whiskey Jerks are happy to be playing one of the sweetest venues in Saskatoon - the Wolf Willow Cohousing Concert Series! You can purchase tickets in advance, but know that their events sell out fast, and, well, it goes without saying that we can't wait!!
SGI has dropped the ball! Three months into it, SGI cancelled Gillian's insurance policy and forced her and Fabian back into their demolished house, sans electricity, running water, and, well, walls. Yay!! So what else is there to do but have one heck of a party with The Whiskey Jerks?
So grab your favourite beverage and come to Anne's, the generous hostess of the party, who has invited The Whiskey Jerks to whoop it up and help raise funds for the wiring and insulation before the winter months descend upon us!
Donations are gratefully accepted, but definitely not required!!
It's gonna be a humdinger folks...
The Whiskey Jerks will be joining a stellar line-up at the Black Cat Tavern (formerly Vangelis) for a night of some serious kick-ass music!! Show starts at 9 and The Whiskey Jerks will be donning the stage at midnight! Yay!
$10 at the door
The Board of the Jack Millikin Centre is pleased to announce the 3rd Saskatchewan Wearable Art Gala! Artists from around the World, and just around the corner, are invited to submit works of wearable art to be unveiled in a fabulous fashion show setting. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top two finalists in each of the three categories at the Gala Party on October 28th 2017.
In addition to the on-stage entertainment, there will be complimentary hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar and great prizes throughout the evening.
Join us at Station 20 West for a night of good food, lively music, and fun with friends. With each ticket, patrons receive a handmade bowl donated by local potters. For supper, these bowls will be filled with delicious soups, stews or chili, using ingredients grown and harvested in CHEP's own urban garden. Patrons get to take the bowls home as a reminder of those in our community who do not have enough food to fill their bowls. We will also enjoy craft brewed beer from 9 Mile Legacy and artisan breads. Dinner will be followed by live musical entertainment featuring Wilma Groenen and then the Whiskey Jerks.
CHEP Good Food works with children, families and communities to alleviate hunger, enhance food skills (such as cooking and gardening), and improve access to healthy food. Gather your friends, and come out to support the great work of CHEP!
Dance your way up to the Mimosa and Caesar bar and please add a dish to the brunch table that is sure to be a feast of epic proportions while enjoying the eclectic music, cocky lyrics and good storytelling of the Whiskey Jerks!
